Riley's Pre-K Graduation

Riley's pre-k graduation was tonight. I LOST it. God, they looked so big up there. And, a little girl that sat by him went up before him. Her daddy died about 1 1/2 months ago, so that's what set me off. Once the faucet got turned on, I couldn't stop!!

Then, they did a slideshow to music. The pictures were from when they started there until now. I wish I could just pause time now :(

All the teachers at Wesley Stay N' Play are so wonderful, as is the director. Thank goodness Parker goes back next year. Man, I'll really be a wreck when it's his turn.

I'm so proud of all of those kids and wish I could put them all in my pocket so they could all go to school together throughout the years. Riley has made some lifelong friendships already, and I know he's got MANY more to come.

Mom's Day

I had my annual Mother's Day Tea at the boy's school on Thursday. Us mom's always look forward to our beautiful hats the kids make for us to wear during our juice and cookies. This year I got a snazzy lamp shade looking hat from Riley and the ever favorite foam visor from Parker. They were so proud of their creations, so of course I was a good sport. They also made me some goodies, pictures in frames, a stained glass butterfly, and cards. Those are the best presents I could ever receive.

Mother's Day always makes me all sappy and realize how much my mom does for me and means to me. She is my rock, my biggest cheerleader, and always puts up with me no matter what kind of mood I'm in. I am very thankful that she is able to watch the boys for us 2 days a week, and that we live so close to her and my dad. So, on this Mother's Day I just want to say Thank you for all you do, and I love you with all of my heart.

Kid Free

We were kid free last night, and they are still at Gram and Paw Paw's as we speak. I miss them terribly, but it has been nice to do things I want to do. I went and tanned this morning, I'm downloading music to my iPhone, and am about to go run. Ahhhhhhhhh........

I can't believe I've waited this long to set up a blog. I guess with all of my other computer addictions, I was a little worried about how much time I would spend here. But, considering I'm on a computer more than I am not because of work, I figured this would be easier for me than writing cute and funny things down that the boys do. Hold on to your seats, there will be lots more to come!
